At SCE Property Consultants, we believe that a thriving team is the cornerstone of our success. Today, our team came together to walk 5.5k as part in the Joe Wicks Movement Hour 2025. We embraced the opportunity to step away from our desks, breathe in the fresh air, and reconnect with each other. The initiative, known for promoting physical activity as a way to support mental health, was a perfect fit for our company’s ethos of balancing productivity with well-being.
The walk offered us a chance to pause, reset, and take in the beauty of the Scottish outdoors—a welcome change of pace from our daily routines. As we enjoyed the beauty of Beecraigs Country Park together, we connected, chatted and appreciated the value of stepping back to move forward stronger.
At SCE Property Consultants, we understand the importance of mental well-being in creating a positive and productive workplace. That’s why we actively encourage our team members to invest in their mental and physical health. Flexible working arrangements are a core part of this approach, allowing our staff the freedom to incorporate movement activities throughout the week. We believe this not only benefits our team, but it increases the energy we’re able to dedicate to our clients.
Taking part in the Joe Wicks Movement Hour 2025 was a reminder that sometimes the most effective way to move forward is to step away momentarily. Physical activity doesn’t just benefit the body; it clears the mind and revitalises creativity and problem-solving abilities—skills that are essential in the ever-evolving world of commercial property consulting.
Our commitment to well-being doesn’t stop at flexible working. We continually explore new ways to support our team, from mental health resources to regular wellness check-ins. Today’s walk was just one example of how we’re bringing our values to life. As we returned to our desks, energised and connected, it was clear that investing in our team’s well-being is truly an investment in our company’s success.
We look forward to participating in more initiatives like this and continuing to build a workplace culture where well-being and professional growth go hand-in-hand.
